Steep skiing and couloirs - Adventure freeski & Ski mountaineering

Join us to explore the more adventurous ski descents where we often need to use rope, axe and crampons to get in position for a descent!

Chamonix is a legendary place for steep skiing and ski mountaineering. This experience is for the back country skier who want to progress in the art of steep skiing, ski couloirs and discover the more technical ski descents in the massif.
As a skier, you need to have a solid ski experience and be comfortable in the back country on all types of snow. As we often need to use mountaineering techniques, the group is small max 2 clients per guide and for the more technical descents the guide to client ratio needs to be 1:1.

We love to show you the massif from the inside, explore these legendary descents together and to help you enhance in ski mountaineering and steep skiing. The objective we choose has to be in line with skills and the right mountain conditions. For any route we may have in mind, the nature will always have the last say but we will always give you the best possible experience and options if our first objective doesn’t work out that day.

Here are some examples of ski adventures we could explore together:

  • Aiguille Entreves SE shoulder

  • Col d’Entreves

  • Cosmiques couloir & Glacier Rond

  • Breche Puisseux

  • Capucin Couloir

  • Couloir Ensa

  • Couloir Rectiligne

  • Col de Cristaux

  • Aiguille du Tacul NW ridge

  • Pointe Yield

  • Tour Ronde South face

  • Aiguille Gliere NE Couloir

  • Col Beaugeant

  • Gervasutti couloir

  • Aiguille Belverdere North Couloir

  • Aiguille du Midi N Col du Plan

  • and much more…..

For any steep skiing, we need to get to know you and start off by seeing you ski. We recommend booking us for a few days in a row so that we make the best of experience for you and take advantage of conditions. Some descents need an overnight stay in huts and some can be done in a day.

Price including special equipment & transport in the valley.
